The street side is closed and layered. A curtain of thin, irregular timber sticks hangs from round logs in front of the glazing, and below it a solid hardwood pivot door sits between louvred panels.
Two roofs at offset angles cover the two blocks. Round beams project through the white walls, and a timber canopy shades the entrance.
Behind the screen you can just make out the stair that climbs to the upper floor.
