The pergola links the two blocks on the ground floor. Its roof is made of closely set timber sticks on round log beams, so daylight reaches the deck in stripes.
A large round table with director’s chairs stands beneath a raffia pendant, and an old turquoise cabinet holds the glassware.
The kitchen opens onto this space, and the deck continues to the pool.
